for my final portfolio, i was tasked to create 4 pieces under a specific theme that i had the liberty of selecting. in this portfolio, bloom, i focused on the theme of growth by showcasing and synthesizing the life cycles of humans and flowers. i created all these pieces with the intention of making each piece as explicit and clear-cut as possible.

the first piece, seedling, displays a plant seedling and a baby. the second piece, budding, showcases a young girl and a budding flower. the third piece, blossoming, portrays an adult woman and a blossoming flower. the fourth piece, wilting, displays an older adult woman and a wilted flower.

the line art was created using the procreate app and the backgrounds were created using adobe photoshop.
